Re-coating the domes has begun at MSATT. See the before and after effects in the images below. The coating was supplied by Boatcraft Pacific at a significant discount (~30%) in recognition of the educational nature of our little observatory and the work the students are doing there. It’s anticipated the re-coating will take another two weeks (part time) but will ensure the telescopes are protected for the next decade or two.
