FIRST PLANTS IN THE GROUND

23 Jan by Geoff McNamara

The first two plants of the new drive to insulate MSATT have gone in the ground. These first two were donated by Geoff McNamara, with others soon to follow. While this may not seem like astronomy the plants will help stabilise conditions in and around the domes so that, come nightfall, students will be able to produce better data. Another 18 plants are planned for the site and the project should be completed by early February.
